The women’s basketball team has began the season this week. We are 2-1 with two big wins this past Friday and Saturday. As a player on the team I am so excited for this season! We, as a team, are expecting great things–such as a conference championship!! We have all been working very hard and our hard work has begun to pay off.At our Friday night game, it was our first home game of the season versus Oklahoma Wesleyan. We won a hard fought game! As a team, we were very pleased with the student section. We had a huge turnout for a non-conference game and we all agree that the student section helped encourage us to win! We are very excited to have a great student turnout because in the past the women’s team does not normally get a big crowd. But we’re changing that this year–we will be winning a ton of games!
