The end of February and the beginning of March is conference tournament time for basketball. This year we ended the season 4th place in conference, hosting our first round game. In years past we have played the 'play-in' game because we were at the bottom of our conference and had to win that game to actually be in the tournament. So this year was exciting to be ranked high enough to host first round. We hosted Friends last night and played a great game. We lost by 2 points, but we played our hearts out and competed. I can't believe the season is over. It hasn't quite hit me yet but will later this afternoon when we won't have practice anymore. But we can all hold our heads high for a great season and accomplishing all that we accomplished. We will miss dearly the seniors that are graduating, but most of us can look forward to next season.
