Am I in over my head?

Probably. Then again, I do like to stay busy. I seem to be a little late coming out of the starting gate with my first blog post of the year, but I hope you’ll forgive me. So far school is going great! I remember coming here as a freshman last year and feeling somewhat intimidated and lost. This year, however, moving into the mods and meeting up with old friends has made the beginning of the semester completely different. I’m living in 6c with most of my closest friends from last year, which has gone swimmingly so far. I’m happy to have a good group of guys to live/hang out with. Being a sophomore has sort of taken the edge off of moving in and starting college too, since I’ve already done this once. As far as being too busy, something you might have inferred from this post’s title, I find that I’ve already put too much on my plate this year, and I don’t eat all that much. Okay, sorry, that was lame. Aside from being a double major in the Social Work and History programs here at Bethel, I’m also playing around with the idea of trying to get a teaching certification along with my history degree. I don’t really need one, but I think it would be a waste of a major not to have a license, since the only other jobs in history would be things like “Museum Curator” or “Archeologist”. Bleh. I love history, but not really in those capacities. Anyway, the point is that I already have 2 majors, and fulfilling the education requirements would give me another 48 hours of classes to take. Sound ridiculous? It kind of is. Looks like I wasn’t very smart when I picked what I wanted to do with my life. Oh well. I suppose I could get a music minor too, as I’m in voice lessons, concert choir, and jazz band II. Anyone want to be a 5th or 6th year with me and see how many degrees we can pile up? No, I didn’t think so.
